DCC Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Dakota College

Dawson Community College and Dakota College at Bottineau traded the lead back-and-forth on Saturday, but eventually Dawson Community College prevailed 9-5. Dawson Community College took the lead for good in the seventh inning. The game was tied at five with Dawson Community College batting in the top of the seventh when there was an error, scoring two runs.

After Dawson Community College scored one run in the top of the fourth, Dakota College at Bottineau answered with one of their own. Dawson Community College scored when Damian Wells singled off of Sumstine, driving in one run. Dakota College at Bottineau then answered when Nathan Davis induced Padilla to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Dawson Community College had nine hits in the game. Kyler Stark, Tristen Petersen, and Trevor Meier each collected multiple hits for Dawson Community College . Wells, Petersen, Gunnar Garpestad, Stark, and Nate LeProwse each drove in one run to lead Dawson Community College .
